Randy Paul Stufflebeam, 73, of Tipton, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Mechanicsville Nursing Home. Per Randy’s wishes, there will be no services other than a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Rock Island Arsenal Cemetery, where Randy will be buried with Military Honors. Cards and memorials may be addressed to 107 Quaker Mill Dr., Manchester, IA 52057 Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com Randy, son of Ercell Clyde and Ruth Mae (Ramsey) Stufflebeam, was born on Friday, August 27, 1948 in Cedar Falls, IA. He attended Denver High School in Denver, IA and served his country in the US Marines. In 1969, Randy married Cheryl Anne Morse in Clarence, IA; they later divorced. Before moving to Tipton, Randy lived in Manchester, IA. While there, he was a first responder that drove for the Regional Medical Center Ambulance, taught Fly Fishing, and worked at the Manchester Fish Hatchery. He also worked as a plumber in Waverly, IA and worked in the maintenance department of the University of Dubuque. On his personal time, Randy enjoyed woodworking, birdwatching, making chili, drinking his cherry Pepsi and going on adventures with his best friend John Roth.  He was known for being a jokester, telling ‘tall tales’ and for his stubbornness. Randy is survived by his daughter, Deena Smock of Oelwein, IA; sisters, Debra Schwarze of Panacea, FL and Sharon Stufflebeam of Manchester, IA; brother, Danny Stufflebeam of Panacea, FL; grandchildren, Hunter, Cooper and Emma Smock; special niece, Shelby Stufflebeam; and many more wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Richard Stufflebeam, Don Stufflebeam, Ronny Stufflebeam, and Scott Stufflebeam.
