Sunnia Kay Deney, 45, formerly of Tipton, passed away early Monday morning, May 25, 2020 in her home in Iowa City, after losing her battle with cancer.
For the many friends and family wishing to pay their respects to Sunnia, Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, will be hosting an outdoor drive through visitation on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton.

Sunnia, daughter of Craig and Debbie (Martens) Deney, was born on Wednesday, December 11, 1974 in Davenport, Iowa. She attended school in Tipton and graduated with the Tipton High School Class of 1993. Sunnia had many gifts, talents and friends but her best friend was her companion over the past 11 years, Lonnie Barr with whom she made her home. Sunnia worked as a Customer Service Representative for Pella Windows and will truly be missed by all those who knew her. She will be remembered as having the kindest heart and the sweetest smile.
Sunnia was a lifelong fan of Nascar, Raiders and Iowa Hawkeye football.
Sunnia is lovingly survived by her best friend, Lonnie Barr of Iowa City, her parents, Craig and Debbie Deney of Tipton, and her siblings, Holly and Jessie. Special cousins, April Berkhoff, Carlie Johannson , and Heidi Crabb.
