Wanda Ellen (Clements) Ossmann

Wanda Ellen Ossmann, 78, of Davenport, stepped into eternity early Tuesday, October 17, 2023 while under the care of the Clarissa Cook Hospice House. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21 from 10:30 – 11:30 am at Fry Funeral Home followed immediately with her funeral at 11:30. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tipton. Wanda was born on March 16, 1945 in Bennett, Iowa. She was the daughter of Edward Anthony Clements and Grace Audrey Wethington Clements. Wanda graduated from Bennett High School and attended Scott Community College. She worked in many capacities but was best known for her talents as an office manager. Wanda was kind, warm, loving and one of the sweetest persons you’ve ever met!

Wanda is survived by her two children; Hollie Powell of San Mateo, California and Yancy Jeleniewski of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her sisters, Brenda Brown of Wilsonville, Oregon, Gracie Gritton of Tipton, Iowa and Paula Ruefer of Davenport, Iowa; her brother, Edward Clements of Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ellen, Catherine and Candace as well as her parents.
